Despite a great bowling and fielding performance Wargrave u11 couldn't overcome being bowled out for 29 in a their match at Binfield on Monday evening.
Binfield bowled very well on a green pitch to reduce Wargrave to 29 all out, Top scorer was Sami Colvin with a respectable 10.
In reply Binfield got home by 3 wickets. A good bowling performance from the boys made the game interesting to the end.
Some good bowling by Max James, Tom Walker Freddie Lewendon and Alfie Dainton ably supported by all the other bowlers kept Wargrave in the game until the final few overs. Unfortunately their below par batting score proved their undoing in his well contested friendly match
This Sunday the boys play their first league game at home to Shinfield
